Our 57th Show - Updated set-up news & show date brought  forward 1 week

Annually we organise our Open Flower Show, featuring the National Begonia Society’s South West Regional Show. With it being 200 years of Appledore Lifeboat our Floral Art will reflect this and we hope to have an opener from the Lifeboat Guild.

Thankfully this year we are able to run the show once again and as there is no Market Day currently on a Saturday enabling us to set the show tabling up well in advance of exhibits arriving. We are now 1 week earlier due to Shropshire horticultural Society cancelling Shrewsbury Flower Show for 2025 and requring the National Begonia Society to seek an alternative location for their National Show which will now be at Southport Flower Show 14th - 17th August and I would not be able to organise our Bideford Show as a result.  We will be setting out tables and bringing in any equipment needed on Friday afternoon 8th August from 3.00pm after which we have use of the hall. Covering the tables and marking out classes is from 10.00am on Saturday. Any help will needed and appreciated. We have similar access in 2025 and have booked the hall in order to set up on Saturday 9th August. Tabling is now largely in-situ to enable quick setting up and marking out. Some items will still be needed from our store area

Schedules are ready for download in May. In the meantime last years schedule is virtually unchanged and available to view but there are changes for Floral Art sections.
